Take on your own running challenge

Get fitter and healthier while raising money to help older people in need of support.

Running is a tried and tested way to improve fitness, so pull on those trainers and let's get moving for °ÄÃÅ×îпª½±½á¹û.


How do I get started?

  • Decide what your challenge will be. Perhaps you've already got a place at a running event, or you'd like to create your own unique challenge. You could aim to run a specific distance (5k, 10k, marathon) or have a target you'd like to hit over a month. 
  • Set up a so people can donate online. 
  • Keep everyone up to date on any training you do beforehand, and how you’re getting on once the challenge has begun.

Does °ÄÃÅ×îпª½±½á¹û have any running events I can join?

If you'd like to join an existing running event, take a look at °ÄÃÅ×îпª½±½á¹û's list of  running challenges. You can join our own running challenge, °ÄÃÅ×îпª½±½á¹û's Leeds Abbey Dash, or apply for charity places for iconic events like the TCS London Marathon.

Your money will make a real difference to the lives of older people who need us the most, whether they’re experiencing loneliness, issues around care, or the challenges associated with the cost of living crisis.
